"On behalf of Donna and myself I would like to thank everyone who helped to make last night's ball such an amazing success.  So many teachers helped in many different ways; you all know who you are.  Thanks for organising the band Donna Carey. They were unbelievably fantastic and had the place literally jumping.  It was definitely the best ball we've had for many many years,  The debs were stunning, food great and flower girls and page boys won everyone's heart.

I was in Sydney last weekend with my sister and a friend from California. We happened upon the Mercantile Pub while visiting the Rocks markets late on Saturday afternoon. The sound of your music pulled us into the pub where we sat for a couple of hours until you completed your set at 7pm. It was a fabulous afternoon and is a memory that will remain with the 3 of us. Your music was mesmerising and so full of life, and we could have listened to you well into the night. Thank you for a wonderful afternoon and a wonderful memory.

Thank you,

I'm Keith Devlin  - I'm the Scots guy from Edinburgh who was  was at the Rocks Market and heard the band playing so just had to come in and  hear more and  I'm so glad I did.
Thank you all  for a brilliant session on Saturday - I really enjoyed it immensely. You're a very talented trio and I wish you every success. It's not often you get an electric bass in a folk band and the combination with accordion and guitar worked very well.

" It was an absolute joy to have Blackwater play and entertain our guests at our 60th birthday bash.
Everyone raved to me about the standard of musicianship and great entertainment.
Suzie obliged by singing several songs I had requested, and also threw in some pleasant surprises.
It will come as no surprise to you that your Sydney fan base increased after this gig.
Many thanks again for  making it a day to remember "

Thanks for your magnificent CD. I think the Molly Malone interpretation is very clever and I would say the first in the World to do it in Irish........magic stuff. Please let Suzy know that it is excellent and I will give it lots of promotion on air.
Thanks for sending it to me .
Cheers for now,

07/01/2012 Wedding of Jade & Joe - Mosman

Just a quick note to say a big Thank You to you and the band for your wonderful performance at our wedding on saturday. You sounded amazing and everyone was commented on how great your music was.

We're so happy that we booked with you, it was truly brilliant. And it was a surprise to hear that Suzie had known Hugh Fox since she was a kid.

Sorry we didn't get to say thanks at the end, I think we spent the whole night trying to say hello to all our guests. But it was really excellent and thank you again.

 Best wishes

Jade and Joe

Hi Patrick

Thanks for two wonderful performances at the Irish Woolfest Boorowa.  My husband has been to all 15 festivals and thought Blackwater Irish Band were the best performers ever.  You certainly brought a wonderful Irish spirit with you and  Suzie has the voice of an angel.  Your repertoire was very varied and very professional.  I had a huge number of complimentary comments from spectators so I would highly recommend a performance by Blackwater Irish Band for any occasion.   Your jamming session at the Boorowa Hotel which is an Irish pub brought tears to the eyes of the publican.   Well done and well worth my chasing you for all these years.

Kind regards

This message to tell you that on holidays for a week in Sydney, we discovered your wonderful group last saturday at the Mercantile. We were so enthusiastic about your performance that we came back yesterday at Scruffy Murphy’s where we had a really great time. I particularly loved your interpretation of Cooley’s reel and King of The Fairies, two of my favorites Irish tunes. I hope I will have the opportunity to see your group next time somewhere in Sydney or better...maybe in Noumea, New Caledonia where I am living.

Waiting for this moment, much success to you all.

Best wishes

Narelle & Peters Wedding Canberra 5th March 2016

Dear PJ

On behalf of myself and Peter, I just wanted to say a huge "thank you" to you, Suzie and Lindsay for playing at our wedding in Canberra, at the Irish Club on, 5 Mar 16.  It was always our dream to have you play for us at our Wedding and it was above and beyond anything we could have wished for.  You and the Blackwater Band are professional, friendly and so unbelievably talented.

The sound was amazing and your broad choice of songs had everyone up on the dance floor from start to finish.  We can't count, how many guest commented on how good the "Blackwater Band" were and also stated it was the best Wedding they had ever been too.  We can't thank you enough, you have truely given us the best memories we could ever ask for, we wish we could do it all over again!!!

Again, thank you for your wonderful voices and music you gave us on our special night, we will never forget it.

Kindest Regards

Hi There

My name is Damien Hoban.

I had the absolute pleasure of being in the company of Blackwater Band last weekend.

From first meeting PJ, SUZIE and Lindsay, i was so impressed.

It was my sister Narelle and Pete's wedding in Canberra at the Irish Club

Anyone and everyone at the reception was up and dancing and of course the reason for that was that we were so lucky to have a BEAUTIFUL, GREAT, WONDERFULL Trio playing for us.

To anyone out there who enjoys great Irish Music, musicians who are totally down to earth, and a time you will certainly ENJOY, chuck a MOLLY and do yourself a bloody favour!!

You have to see and enjoy these guys.

I was M.C. at the wedding and it all went so great.

P.S. cant wait to see you again

Cheers, Damo
